Kurten notches up first Geneva win
Ireland's Jessica Kurten took her first win of the weekend at Geneva, Switzerland this afternoon with a decisive victory in the big 1m50 jump-off competition, with Castle Forbes Vivaldo.
The Co. Antrim-born rider showed a clean pair of heels to German runner-up Christian Ahlmann, who was a remarkable five seconds off the Irishwoman's pace in the final round. Only Kurten and Ahlmann, however, managed a clear jump-off round of the seven who went through.
Earlier, the 37-year-old Kurten took a seventh place in the Young Horse Final, with Cakoa 2.
