Venetia Williams expects Lightning Strike to improve for the step up in trip in tomorrow’s Ballymore Properties Novices’ Hurdle at Sandown.

Registered as the Winter Novices’ Hurdle, the Grade Two event has been won by some decent sorts in recent years with the likes of Inglis Drever, Ladalko and Neptune Collonges on the roll of honour.
