Detroit City set for Ascot
Detroit City is on target to begin a fresh campaign at Ascot later this month.
The popular grey is set to make his reappearance in the Coral Ascot Hurdle over two miles, three and a half furlongs on November 24.
Owner Terry Warner's pride and joy will be out to redeem his reputation following poor performances on his final two starts last term.
"Everything is going well and the plan is still Ascot in three weeks' time," said trainer Philip Hobbs.
Asked about putting blinkers on again, Hobbs said: "I don't know yet - I haven't discussed it with the owners."
