Easterby smuggles Aintree prize

Tim Easterby knocked in his first jumping winner since May as Smugglers Bay (15-2) took Aintree’s intercasino.co.uk Introductory Juvenile Novices’ Hurdle with a decent performance.

Easterby is always a force in these events and the youngster, who looked to have needed his recent hurdling debut at Wetherby, took over from John Dillon with a couple of flights to jump.
