Lady heads to paddocks
Confidential Lady, winner of last year’s French Oaks, has been retired to Cheveley Park Stud.
The four-year-old presented trainer Mark Prescott with a first Classic win when triumphing at Chantilly but she has failed to regain her sparkle this term.
“Confidential Lady is coming back to the stud to join Echelon and Nannina and we are very much looking forward to the day when we see their progeny on the racecourse,” said Cheveley Park’s managing director Chris Richardson
“We took the chance to keep her in training but sadly on this occasion it didn’t work but she was a Classic winner and she owes us nothing,” he told the Racing Post.
