Press has Newmarket spin

Raven’s Pass will work over six furlongs on Newmarket’s Rowley Mile course tomorrow as he continues his preparations for the Darley Dewhurst Stakes.

Trainer John Gosden will send the unbeaten Elusive Quality colt for a spin with a stable companion ahead of the Group One contest next Saturday.

Raven’s Pass is as low as 5-1 with William Hill for the Stan James 2000 Guineas after strolling away with the Solario Stakes at Sandown last time.
