Jockey 'lost race after taking huge lead'
Top jockey Kieren Fallon came second in a race which he should have won “at a canter”, the £2m (€2.8m) race-fixing trial at the Old Bailey was told today.
The six-times champion jockey appeared to stop riding Ballinger Ridge as he came into the home stretch with a huge lead, said Jonathan Caplan QC, prosecuting.
