Cecil pair set for Newmarket gallop
Multidimensional and Passage Of Time are to have a work-out an hour before racing at Newmarket on Friday.
The former, who made a successful return to action when winning a conditions’ event at Newbury recently, will be undergoing the latest part of his Champion Stakes’ preparation.
Passage Of Time, third in the Prix Vermeille after a lay-off, is set for the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf in three weeks’ time.
Cecil said: “Multidimensional and Passage Of Time will have a racecourse gallop with lead horses at Newmarket an hour before racing on Friday.
“They are both well and on target for the Champion Stakes and Breeders’ Cup (respectively),” he told www.henrycecil.com.
Both horses were among 24 acceptors following the latest forfeit stage for the £350,000 Group One contest over 10 furlongs on October 20.
Another Champion Stakes hopeful, the Mike De Kock-trained Mullins Bay will work over six furlongs on the track at 8.30am tomorrow.
Aidan O’Brien has left in eight including George Washington, Dylan Thomas and Soldier Of Fortune.
Godolphin’s Ramonti has stood his ground as have the French filly Mandesha and Michael Stoute’s duo of Notnowcato and Maraahel.
