Haatef heads for Diadem date

Haatef is to step back in trip to six furlongs when he tackles Sunday’s John Guest Diadem Stakes at Ascot.

Owned by Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum and trained by Kevin Prendergast, the Danzig colt landed a Listed event at Fairyhouse back in July to supplement a triumph gained on his only other attempt at the trip as a juvenile.
