O'Brien-trained George Washington favourite at Ascot
George Washington is 7-4 favourite with William Hill to record back-to-back victories in Saturday's Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot.
Trainer Aidan O'Brien has confirmed the four-year-old an intended runner in the mile feature while connections of French filly Darjina intend to supplement their star performer.
Darjina beat both George Washington and Godolphin's Ramonti when winning the Prix du Moulin last time but Hills are confident O'Brien's runner can turn around the form.
Spokesman Tony Kenny said: "I know that both Ramonti and Darjina have beaten George Washington this season, but we still believe that George is the one to beat.
"He's been gradually getting better all season and a return to the place of possibly his greatest triumph could see him back to his brilliant best."
