Multidimensional close to comeback

Multidimensional is set to make his comeback in the next few weeks as connections work towards a tilt at the Emirates Airline Champion Stakes on October 20.

A setback saw the Danehill colt ruled out of last year’s Newmarket feature, while a further mishap has prevented him from running at all this term.

The Group Two winner is back on form, however, and satisfied trainer Henry Cecil in a spin on the Al Bahathri gallop on Wednesday morning.

Cecil said: “Multidimensional did a nice, easy piece of work after he was slightly off colour for a couple of days last week.

“He seems fine now and will hopefully have a race in the next three weeks on his way to the Champion Stakes,” the trainer told www.henrycecil.com.
