Cheveley Park Stud are set to run both Nannina and Cesare in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot later this month.

Nannina has disappointed on her last two starts, most recently when finishing last in the Nassau Stakes, while Cesare was just touched off by fellow Cheveley Park runner Echelon at Goodwood.

“I think we will be double-handed there, all being well,” said Chris Richardson, the stud’s managing director.

“Nannina has been freshened up, she obviously likes Ascot and we will give her her chance.

“Cesare did nothing wrong under a penalty at Goodwood and goes well at the track as well.

“It’s nice to have two capable of being contenders in that race,” he told At The Races.
