Godolphin have continued to bolster their ranks for nest year’s Classics with the purchase of leading 1000 Guineas fancy Laureldean Gale.

A smooth winner of a Newmarket maiden on her debut for Peter Chapple-Hyam, she was not disgraced on her next start when chasing home Andre Fabre’s top-class filly Proviso in a Group Three at Deauville.
