Uttoxeter has been fined a record total of £12,500 (€18,500) for failing to provide proper medical services at their meeting on Sunday, May 13.

The Staffordshire, England track was fined £5,000 for declaring that medical checks were in place when they were not, another £5,000 (€7,400) for failing to ensure medical services were complete and £2,500 (€3,700) for other breaches related to medical arrangements.

Uttoxeter is the third course in the past three years to be brought before the disciplinary panel of the British Horseracing Authority – Chepstow and Hexham both being fined £5,000 (€7,400).
