Tajdeef looked a colt with Group potential when spread-eagling his rivals in the first division of the six-furlong Home-Start West Berkshire European Breeders' Fund Maiden Stakes at Newbury today.

The son of Aljabr cruised into the lead approaching the final furlong and under Richard Hills stormed five lengths clear of Redsensor.
