Stan Moore hopes Dont Dili Dali can enjoy some luck in running in the Blue Square Nassau Stakes at Goodwood on Saturday.
The 10-furlong is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the season with top filly Mandesha set to clash with this year’s Classic winners Light Shift, Peeping Fawn and Finsceal Beo.
Although Dont Dili Dali falls some way short of that level, she was placed in the Dahlia Stakes earlier in the season and Moore hopes she can sneak into the frame.
“Dont Dili Dali has been slightly disappointing of late but I think she’s been a bit unlucky in running,” he said.
“She’s more than likely going to take her chance in the Nassau Stakes. I think if things go right, she’s a class act. Whether she’s up to winning the race is another matter, but if you don’t buy a ticket you don’t get the prize.
“She’s competed at good levels and she’s a good tough filly. She just needs everything to click and she’ll put up a good performance.”
