Distinction is set to make a delayed return to the racecourse in Thursday’s ABN Amro Goodwood Cup after working in Newmarket this morning.

The eight-year-old has been sidelined by a tendon injury since finishing third behind Yeats in last year’s Ascot Gold Cup.
