Aspell calls it a day

Jumps jockey Leighton Aspell has announced his retirement from the saddle at the age of 31.

The freelance rider, whose big-race wins included Welsh Nationals on L’Aventure and Supreme Glory, will be bringing to an end a 15-year career.
