Cartmel’s National Hunt meeting on Thursday is subject to a 4pm inspection this afternoon.

A night of heavy rain in the Cumbria area has placed the fixture in doubt as the going is soft, waterlogged in places.

The course was hit with 22 millimetres of overnight rain.
