Express steaming towards Tipperary
The Loan Express, a fine third in the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot last month, could take in a Listed race at Tipperary on Saturday evening.
Tommy Stackâs filly has been beaten by some top-class performers this season such as Warsaw and Youâresothrilling, but she excelled in defeat at the Royal meeting, staying on stoutly in the closing stages.
She holds an entry in the Danehill Dancer Tipperary Stakes and could then be heading for the Lowther Stakes at York.
âShe came out of Ascot in great form. Hopefully, if she is OK, she might run in a Listed race at Tipperary on Saturday night,â said the trainerâs son and assistant, Fozzy.
âIf all goes well she might then go for the Lowther at York (August 23). If she doesnât go to Tipperary, she will probably go for the Princess Margaret (at Ascot on July 29).
âIt was a cracking run at Ascot and Elletelle franked the form in the Cherry Hinton, where she was a bit unlucky.â
