Fallon denies race-fixing allegation

Kieren Fallon formally pleaded not guilty today to a charge of conspiracy to defraud in connection with an alleged plot to fix the results of races.

The six-times champion jockey and four other individuals, including fellow rider Fergal Lynch, entered pleas of not guilty at a pre-trial hearing before Mr Justice Forbes, sitting in London.
