Perfect performance from Murtagh

Johnny Murtagh rode his rivals to sleep and added a second Group One to Simply Perfect’s record in the feature race on day one of the Ritz Club July Festival at Newmarket.

Last year’s Fillies’ Mile winner made all under a tactical front-running ride from the Irishman to see off Irridescence by a length in the UAE Hydra Properties Falmouth Stakes.
