Catterick forced into early check

Officials at Catterick have called a 7.30am inspection ahead of racing at the North Yorkshire venue on Wednesday afternoon.

Clerk of the course Jonjo Sanderson said: “We have had two or three sharp, heavy storms and there is sitting water half a furlong from the finish between the running rails.
