Listed glory for Listen

Listen earned rejuvenated jockey Kieren Fallon Listed honours in the six-furlong Saoire Stakes at the Curragh.

Aidan O’Brien’s previously-unraced filly travelled sweetly from the outset under his rider and loomed menacingly into contention.

The 7-2 second favourite galloped clear of early pacesetter Porto Marmay at the one-furlong marker and had one and a quarter lengths in hand from Tuscan Evening at the line.

Short-priced favourite Saoirse Abu was off the bit quite a way from home and faded well out of contention.
