Sick Mudawin out of Plate

Ebor winner Mudawin will not run in Saturday’s John Smith’s Northumberland Plate at Newcastle due to illness.

The well-regarded gelding was prominent in the betting for the Pitmen’s Derby after finishing a promising third to Sentry Duty at Newmarket in May.
