Aussies head 32 in Jubilee

Australian speedsters Bentley Biscuit, Magnus, Miss Andretti and Takeover Target all feature among the 32 horses in Saturday’s Golden Jubilee Stakes at the five-day stage.

That quartet are due to bid for glory over the minimum trip in tomorrow’s King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot, prior to stepping up a furlong for the weekend showpiece.

Benbaun, Dandy Man and Moss Vale could also tread the same path after their respective connections elected to keep their options open ahead of Saturday.

Al Qasi, Amadeus Wolf and Asset are other notables still in the six-furlong Group One prize, along with the Jeremy Noseda-trained Soldier’s Tale.

South African handler Mike De Kock could run Drayton, while Excellent Art, King’s Stand hopeful Hamoody, Mastership, Tombi, Wi Dud and Theann could complete the three-year-old challenge.

As expected, 2006 hero Les Arcs was taken out of the race, while Hellvelyn and Ed Dunlop’s Criterion Stakes-bound Munaddam were other notable defections.
