Kurten second in Cannes Grand Prix
Jessica Kurten took second place for Ireland in tonight's Grand Prix at the five-star show in Cannes, France.
The 37 year-old Antrim-born star picked up 60,000 euro in prize money after a four-horse jump-off in which Kurten's 11-year-old bay mare Castle Forbes Libertina broke the beam almost three seconds behind Ukraine's Gregory Wathelet and Lantinus - the combination which also won the Wiesbaden Grand Prix where Kurten and Quibell had finished fifth in May of this year.
