Michael Jarvis will bid to enhance his impressive Royal Ascot record when he sends out a strong team next week.

The Kremlin House handler already has 13 winners at the meeting to his credit and along with Yaqeen in the Coronation Stakes and Pressing in the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes, he has numerous other leading fancies.

“Befortyfour will head for the Windsor Castle,” he said.

“It looks very strong. It looks like being an excellent field and it will be a bit of a cavalry charge and they will probably split into two bunches.

“It will be interesting to see which side comes out on top. He is a nice colt and he is very much sprinting bred. I was very happy with his first run but we have two lengths to find with the winner, Roker Park. He is a heavy horse but he appears to have come on for the run.

“Harland has the King Edward VII and Hampton Court as options. He beat Eradicate quite easily at Newcastle and Eradicate has turned into a good horse, as he showed at Haydock last Saturday.

“He had a bit of a dirty scope a week or two after Newcastle and he lost a bit of condition so we’ve given him plenty of time and he looks a picture.

“We are going to have a look at both races and decide which one to go for. He should stay a mile and a half as he is out of a Darshaan mare.

“He would appreciate a bit of cut in the ground but he’s pretty decent,” Jarvis told At The Races.

“Veracity is a nice progressive horse, he loves fast ground and he is heading for the Queens Vase.

“Two miles for a three-year-old in June is a long way but his style of running suggests he has a good chance of getting it. I'm looking forward to running him as I think he will go very well.”
