Decado misses Ascot date
Decado is on the easy list and will not take up his entry in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot.
The Kevin Prendergast-trained four-year-old returned a little sore after finishing fourth to Danak at Leopardstown last month.
“We’ve been waiting for easier ground for him. He’s been on the easy list since he ran last time,” said the County Kildare trainer.
“The ground at Leopardstown was very firm and he came back a bit freely. We have no real plans for him at the moment.”
Decado holds Group One entries in the BGC Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood and the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown in September.
