The chances of Frankie Dettori riding an historic Classic double at Epsom this weekend have suffered a setback after it was revealed that Measured Tempo has an abscess on her foot.

The filly emerged as a live contender for the Vodafone Oaks after victory in the Swettenham Stud Fillies’ Trial at Newbury.
