Connections of leading staying hurdler Mighty Man have revealed that the seven-year-old has almost certainly run his last race.

Trained by Henry Daly, Mighty Man ruptured a superficial flexor tendon when leading in the Champion Stayers’ Hurdle at the Punchestown Festival.
