Mick Channon has targeted the progressive Youmzain at the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh on May 27.

The Sinndar colt improved throughout last season and after beating subsequent Breeders’ Cup Turf hero Red Rocks at York, he chased home the impressive Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner Rail Link in the Prix Niel.
