Passage Of Time will bid to consolidate her position as ante-post favourite for the Vodafone Oaks when she makes her seasonal debut at York on Wednesday.

The filly, a best-priced 3-1 for the Epsom Classic, is among a field of five for the Tattersalls Musidora Stakes over 10 and a half furlongs.

She has to give her four opponents 3lb after winning the Group One Criterium de Saint-Cloud last autumn as her trainer Henry Cecil seeks his eighth success in this Group Three contest.

Her main market rival is expected to be Shorthand, whose full sister Short Skirt won this race 12 months ago.

Michael Stoute’s filly won a Nottingham maiden last September before finishing fourth to Finsceal Beo in the Rockfel Stakes on her only other start.

Sues Surprise, beaten five lengths by Passage Of Time in a Listed race at Newmarket in October, represents Barry Hills while Mick Channon has declared Sweet Lily, who was 12th to Finsceal Beo in the 1000 Guineas,

The only runner not holding an entry in the Oaks on June 1 is the likely outsider, the John Wainwright-trained Bobansheil.
