Claremorris-born Cameron Hanley steered the eight year-old grey Siec Livello into a creditable second place in the Copenhagen Grand Prix this afternoon.

Hanley, who celebrated his 34th birthday just last week, was just over half a second off the pace of Belgian winner Pieter Devos in the four-star competition.

Ireland's Capt. Shane Carey also made it through to the 14 horse jump-off with River Foyle, but an elimination in the second round kept him in 14th place overall.
