Papal Bull was successful in the grade when winning the King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot last season and will represent Sir Michael Stoute.

Jane Chapple-Hyam runs Mighty, while Brian Meehan relies on five-time winner Admiral’s Cruise.

The pair finished second and fifth respectively when locking horns over the same 12-furlong trip in the John Porter Stakes at Newbury last month.

Linda’s Lad, winner of the 2006 Derby trial at Lingfield, completes the field for Andre Fabre.
