Christophe Soumillon has been booked to ride the Aidan O’Brien-trained Eagle Mountain in the Stan James 2000 Guineas at Newmarket on Saturday.

But stablemate Mount Nelson, one of four O’Brien possibles for the first Classic of the season, will be an absentee.
