Ascot aim for Lady

Confidential Lady could kick off her 2007 programme in the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 20.

Mark Prescott’s charge was campaigned solely at the highest level last summer, enjoying her finest moment when landing the French Oaks after finishing second in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket.

Chris Richardson, managing director for owners Cheveley Park Stud, said: “She hasn’t really come in her coat as she’s taken a bit of time, unlike last year when she was looking an absolute picture of health before the Guineas.

“I would think Royal Ascot will probably be where she will start and perhaps the Prince Of Wales’s would be an option.

“We were lucky with our runners there last year and hopefully she’ll go there,” he told At The Races.

Last year’s Group One feature at Ascot saw Ouija Board prove too strong for the colts, who were headed by Godolphin’s ill-fated Electrocutionist.
