Frost banned after Southwell drama

Haddon Frost was banned for two days for careless riding when relegated from first to second place at Southwell.

The 7lb claimer had finished first past the post on Apex in the betdirectpoker.com 50,000 Freeroll Handicap.

However, the stewards found his mount had carried the short-head second Sugatani to the right in the closing stages and reversed the placings.

Frost is suspended on May 12 and 14.

Edward Creighton picked up a three-day ban (May 12, 14 and 15) for careless riding on the third horse, Mahmjra, in the same race.
