Martin Brassil’s Nickname has won six of his seven starts this season but none of those victories have been achieved on going faster than yielding to soft.

Newmill ran out an impressive winner of this race last year having previously landed the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.

However, he could finish only fourth to Voy Por Ustedes in the Prestbury Park feature this season.

Mansony has enjoyed a successful campaign and will take his chance for Arthur Moore, while Central House and Justified also take up the challenge.

Willie Mullins will be represented by Our Ben, a winner over three miles earlier in the month, while Steel Band will bid for his first success in over a year.

Noel Chance supplies the sole British raider in the shape of River City, who ran a mighty race to finish third in the Queen Mother Champion Chase last time.
