In the last of the four competitions in the British Open Show Jumping Championships at Birmingham, England today Antrim-born Jessica Kurten clinched her position at the top of the championship

table with a win on Galopin du Biolay.

Cork's Billy Twomey was second in the Final with Anastasia III, his clear round not quite enough to narrow the gap with Kurten's almost unassailable position in the weekend's rankings.

Kurten took home stg£25,250 (€37,000), with Twomey winning stg£10,150 (€14,900).

Tipperary-born Shane Breen stayed in ninth position in the table after today's competition, and earned Stg£2,750 (€4,000).
