Tyrone's Peter Smyth scored the first Irish win of the weekend at Arezzo, Italy today when taking the top spot in the Bronze/Silver Tour 1m30 jump-off competition.

The 37-year-old rider broke the beam with the Irish-bred Liscooley fractions of a second ahead of fellow-countryman Niall Talbot and the grey eight-year-old mare Onisha.
