Culhane injuries not too serious
Tony Culhane spent Thursday night in hospital after a nasty fall at Wolverhampton but is hoping to be released shortly.
Culhane was riding Spinning Game in the wolverhampton-racecourse.co.uk Selling Stakes but his mount swerved and unseated him around a furlong from home.
Culhane was taken to nearby New Cross Hospital and his agent Mark Gilchrist said: “He’s got injuries to his back and neck, that’s all we know at the moment.
“They kept him in overnight but he is waiting to see if he will be allowed home today. It looked quite a bad fall and obviously he is in quite a bit of pain but he’s a tough boy and hopefully he’ll be OK.”
