Winter Derby third Illustrious Blue is to be aimed at the Group Three Earl Of Sefton Stakes at Newmarket on April 19.

William Knight’s charge, who had previously won a competitive handicap at the Dubai Carnival, was beaten half a length and a neck in the highlight of the all-weather season.
