Taqseem strikes for Al Muhairi
Musabah Al Muhairi trained his biggest winner to date when Taqseem won the Listed Jebel Ali Sprint under Martin Dwyer.
Always up with the pace, the four-year-old gelded son of Fantastic Light ran on well up the steep hill to win the five-furlong dash in style.
He was chased home by the South African duo of Key of Destiny and Protector.
Al Muhairi said: “That is my first Listed thoroughbred win and it is very pleasing. I knew I had a big chance with four good runners so it is pleasing to be rewarded.”
Dwyer added: “That was a good effort as he was always travelling and has run on well. He quickened nicely when I asked and I knew he would stay on as he has form over further.”
