Catterick confident

No problems are anticipated ahead of tomorrow’s jumps meeting at Catterick.

The going is described as soft, heavy in places and the track may even dry out a little.

“We are soft, heavy in places and had just four millimetres of rain last night,” said clerk of the course Jonjo Sanderson.

“We are absolutely fine unless the forecast is horrendously wrong, which hopefully it won’t be, as we are only forecast maybe another two millimetres today.

“This afternoon is set to be dry, then breezy tonight, dry and warm tomorrow but not much of a breeze. Any drying out we get will probably be today and if it becomes fast enough we may lose the heavy places, otherwise I think we will be more or less where we are now tomorrow.”
