Hereford take a look

Hereford have called a precautionary inspection for 8am ahead of tomorrow’s meeting.

Clerk of the course Gemma Charrington will take a look at the track after substantial rain in recent days.

She explained: “We have had 10 millimetres of rain since 8.30 this morning and further rain is forecast.

“It just depends on when the rain stops. We had 26 millimetres on Friday night and it didn’t look promising on Saturday morning but it all drained away.

“We are quite a free-draining track and the rain is forecast to stop between 9pm and 10pm so if it does work out like that, we should be OK.”
