Daly duo out of Kempton feature

Henry Daly has withdrawn Billvoddan and Alderburn from this afternoon’s Racing Post Chase at Kempton.

The Racing Post Chase field was decimated further after Reveillez met with a slight setback and was declared a non-runner by James Fanshawe.

Daly expressed concern on Friday about the testing conditions at the track, which was hit by five millimetres of overnight rain.

And after walking the track this morning, the Shropshire handler declared his two entries non-runners due to the going.

Lady of Scarvagh was this morning also withdrawn because of the ground, which is currently soft, heavy on the Lakeside Bend.

Hoo La Baloo was taken out of the Grade Three feature on Friday due to lameness, which means just 11 runners are now set to go to post.
