Kurten second in Masters qualifier

Ireland's Jessica Kurten racked up her second place of the day at Gothenburg, Sweden, tonight when she finished in the Masters qualifier just a fraction of a second behind German winner Ludger Beerbaum in a 15-horse jump-off.

Riding her 13-year-old mare Quibell, Kurten, who is ranked fourth in the world, picked up €30,000 for her fast finish and consolidated her place in the Masters Class at the World Cup show tomorrow night.
