Mullins ponders Fairyhouse hand

Willie Mullins is undecided as to which of his four entries to unleash in the Aramark Winning Fair Juvenile Hurdle at Fairyhouse on Saturday.

The County Carlow handler appears to have a strong hand in the four-year-old department this season, with Financial Reward, Deutschland, Jayo and J’y Vole all holding multiple entries at the Cheltenham Festival.

Mullins is unsure at this stage who will take up what engagement at the Festival and is hoping he will know more after this weekend’s Grade Two contest.

“J’y Vole means ’I’m flying’ as a response if someone asks you how you are apparently,” he explained.

“Hopefully both he and Jayo wil run at the weekend. They are both well entered up at Cheltenham and at the moment they are going on Saturday unless something happens in the meantime.

“I also have Financial Reward and Deutschland in, though, and I won’t decide until Friday morning. At this stage Deutschland is a non-runner and Financial Reward is 50-50.

“Financial Reward was just touched off by Convincing on Hennessy day and I don’t think he needs another run, but we will see.”
