Dominic Elsworth plans to return to action at the weekend after hurting his leg in a tumble at Market Rasen.

He escaped with muscle damage after being unseated from Follingworth at the first flight in the opening maiden hurdle at the Lincolnshire course yesterday.

“I think I’ll leave it until the weekend as my leg is quite sore. It’s muscle damage and just needs a little bit of rest,” said Elsworth.

“I stood myself down yesterday and I won’t have to pass the doctor, but I don’t know where I will be riding yet.”
